Turk, that’s possibly the nicest thing you’ve ever said about me. Willy
Let’s switch it up a bit here. Anyone think the Bills will ever actually move to TO?
“Let’s switch it up a bit here. Anyone think the Bills will ever actually move to TO?” I hope not…but an expansion team would be alright. More questions, will the leafs’ win a cup in my lifetime, or will the raps win a championship before the leafs’ do, in my lifetime or not…
WillyR is completely right on here. And the Habs will win 10 Cups before the Leafs ever come close to it !
Forgot to mention I’m a bruins fan…but they’re dead to me until they get a new owner. I’ve pretty much abandoned the NHL.
Seems a lot of bruins fans feel the same way. I say the raptors will get to the finals before the leafs will. Better management, less pressure, less competition. We know the celts will break down at some point. And Wily, I dont necessarily agree with the content of your post, but I like the spirit of it.
Chonger that’s fine, as long as I make more money than you I’m happy. Willy
As a kid, I was a diehard Leafs fan, watched every game. I just couldn’t take it anymore, I don’t care about NHL a lot anymore. I’ll go to a game or whatever…I’d like to see Crosby do well because he’s a hometown kid, but other than that I don’t care. I agree, I don’t want to see a franchise with such an awesome fanbase as the Bills lose their team. I really don’t follow B-Ball alot, but I think the Raptors have a good fanbase and less pressure than the Leafs, so they’ll likely eventually pull something out. Def not this year though. Jays look alright this year too…prob another 3rd place AL East finish though
Does anyone know of a good place to get a scorpion bowl in Toronto?
canada in general (not just finance) has the highest level of overqualified young workers in the OECD… http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/080417/business/youth_labour
I’ll debate your post. What’s the average age of an executive? While in HF land your point may potentially be valid, plenty of finance people end up working for normal corporations. If you do, you are working up the ladder. Plenty of ladders don’t cross the 250k point at age 35. Consider MBAs, the average salary of a graduate is approx 100-125k (assuming decent school). Lets say you enter at 26 and graduate at 28 (being generous here). If your salary grows at 10% a year you still won’t hit your 250k mark by 35. And 700k for a basic condo in Toronto? Not even worth arguing.

Not even > worth arguing. when people say salary they are usually referring to just base. 100-125k seems a bit high for just base salary post-mba, but seems low for all-in. during the first couple years your base should go up by 10% a year (maybe even less) but your bonus should grow much more quickly.
…Yeah but for that price you are getting a nice size condo wtih room for children…Willy…
