The CFA presents Equity before Portfolio; however, Schweeser presents Portfolio directly after Corporate Finance. I am finishing Corporate Finance today so I was hoping for some advice on which direction to take. I am leaning towards starting on equity so I can spend 2 weeks nailing that mammoth and then finish up the last few sections. It looks like I wont finish my first pass until the first week of May, but thats exactly the same time I finished level 1 last year and I did fine on exam day.
equity first for sure at this stage in the game b/c if you get tight on time, equity is far more important on weighting. one vote equity. plus, equity kind of ties together the whole L2 cirriculum.
equity first, then FI and Deriv, then PM last.
