Do these methods ALWAYS produce the same net income and equity. Any exceptions at all?

this is a practice area i had huge problems with.
and just to continue with the effects on ratios, consolidation will report the lowest ROA since you will have most assets on the BS. And consolidation will have the lowest profit margin also, since sales will be the highest and net income will be the same. Sorry I ran all that together.
