Err... AAPL is trading at $464 right now....

Guys, I’m not an Apple fan boy. I wouldn’t have considered investing in this. But at these levels, I’d pick up coverage and do the analysis. I’m a #Contrarian #SeekingAlpha.

I would strongly disagree with those last two assertions. While they may not realize it, culturally, the UK has far more in common with europe then the united states. Japan certainly has more in common with the rest of asia then the united states. Culturally they are vastly different from us. Im not talking on a superficial level, they may like burgers and fries but they are still strongly influenced by confucian ideals/values and those values are completely foreign and incomprehensible to westerners like you and me.

The UK is culturally very similar to liberal US people, particularly blue bloods from the East Coast. CT would know - he is one of them. They like universal healthcare and other socialism stuff, but they are “proper” and maintain a strict social heirarchy. Historically, these Americans are also closely related to the UK - they are basically English people who have lived in the US for a while.

However, the US is a very big and diverse place. There are white people here of German, French, Russian, or all kinds of origin. Not all US people share the same ties with the UK.

Japan is certainly closer to the US compared to most Asian countries in terms of technology and living standards. However, they do have a strong culture of traditionalism, which ultimately stifles their innovation. Instead of making Japanese Facebook, Japanese Mark Zuckerberg would probably go work for a big company where he bows down to older people for 30 years. This does not mean there is no innovation - just much less than the US.

That’s a good point. In that case, I do own apple.

Futures are a bit low right now… the buyers are done, but not necessarily any sellers yet…

All I know is, and you can ask yourself too; would you rather be long or short AAPL over the weekend?

The ‘split’ will be coming soon to a theater near you…

AAPL market cap just fell below XOM. They are no longer the most valuable US company.

Sic transit gloria mali.

Called it. They have been starting to suck for awhile now. By suck I mean their stuff used to work, and now it is starting to not work. That’s a problem.

The bleeding continues. It’s like crack berry all over again.

So where are we estimating support levels at? I say 400 looks solid, if it drops below 400, no idea.

400

Support levels? Didn’t you guys read the CFA curriculum? Technical things like that don’t work

^interesting article. A bit overly dependant on the ‘Apple will never innovate again’ mentality
