Which of the following statements is a violation of Standard VII(B) if it is included on a CFA charterholder’s resume? A) My earning the CFA designation indicates my desire to maintain high standards. B) My earning the CFA designation required that I pass three rigorous exams. C) My earning the CFA designation indicates my superior ability. D) All of these are violations of Standard VII(B).
CFA does not teach you how to brag. It does ask yout o pass rigorous exams and how to maintain high ethical standards in investment profession.
C is correct. but why not D? Is the statement B right?
I mean using ‘rigorous’
There is no “I” in CFA, humbleness is key.
Yes exams are rigorous. You could not pass them without preparation. Infact with preparation I doubt i could pass it.
Well A is definitely correct. I can see what you mean, but I think rigorous is trying to emphasize that the designation is no easy task. The CFAi wants investors to know that the designation holds weight.
