don’t have material in front, but think the selling group would be the people marketing the deal to brokers, funds, etc. ie. ‘roadshows.’ it’s not permissable for an analyst that covers the sector/company to participate in a road show with bankers to promote the offering.
so in CFAI text book CVG case, because CVG is not underwriter , so even they are in selling group, they don’t need to disclose it to the public?
