Ethics - anyone knows?

Misconduct- CFI discourages unethical behavior in all aspects of lives. However, Misconduct seems to emphasize more on professional conduct. I wonder if unethical behaviors other than professional aspects can be violations of the code? If someone knows the answer, please help Thank you!

IMO, Misconduct would be in a violation of CFAI standards UNLESS it affects your professional work. For example, if you are consuming alcohol in day time, it is not a violation. But if that is the time you are doing your professional work and your being under influence is affecting your work or perceived to be affecting your work by your clients/supervisor, then it is in violation of CFAI standards.

A general answer: Key word is whether your private misdeed (when known) hurts your professional reputation and integrity. If you think it does, chances are likely that it violates.
