ethics material- Schweser or CFAI?

What are you guys using to study Ethics? Is there any value that Schweser can add to it or is it just best to go thru the reading in CFAI and then hit questions? My fear is Schweser with shortchange the intricate parts that you need to know.

I’m CFAI all the way. I hate Scweser ethics questions.

i don’t even look at third party stuff on ethics, theres too much gray area, i equate learnign ethics from stalla/schweser to being at the end of a game of telephone.

CFAI - without a doubt

I was wondering this also. I looked over the Stalla Ethics and it looked like it did a good job explaining evrything.

I read both and did questions from both. But if you’re only doing one, go CFAI.

CFAI all the way and use Books 6 and 7 ethics as supplements.

Think of it this way… Aside from the Ethics, all of the other stuff in the CFAI curriculum is excerpts from various text books and papers, etc. that was never written for the context of this test. Thus you get questions at the end of the readings that are relatively inappropriate for the purposes of the test regarding format or depth. However, CFAI wrote the Ethics materials themselves. They know it, they develop the questions at the end of the readings, they use that to construct the test. In that context, the choice is not a choice at all.

I am about to start Ethics for the 1st time this year (and last). So is SOPH + CFAI, the way to go?

CFAI = SOPH + PIR/PMR + ROS + Soft$$ is this equation correct? So doing CFAI will cover it all, right?

I use the SoPH and supplement the parts not covered there with Schweser. I agree Schweser isn’t great on ethics but for the PIR, ROS, and case studies I think its fine.
