Ethics: Preston Partners (Reading 6) Page-233, @S2000 and other seniors

In the Case Discussion, it says “the case notes that certain sections of the policy and procedure manual were unclear” so its a violation of Standard IV ©

However, in the Case Facts, it says “Preston had stuck to the key elements rather than addressing all policies in detail”

  • Could somebody explain how does not being detail implies “unclear”?? I mean i could have a 5 page policy vs. 100 page policy nowhere does the standard says whether detail is the way to go, yet the 5 page could be as effective…

  • Under Standard IV © (on page-100 & 101), nowhere it says that policies have to be detail, in fact it says that it should be simple and easy to understand

Any comments?
