Accept gifts from clients -DIsclose Get additional compensation - Disclose and get it in writing from all the concerned parties

is it like whatever you accepted…just disclose it. Whatever you are going to accept it in future…take written permission?

I work as a mutual fund analyst. I am going to begin managing the IRA’s of 5 close friends. Do I need to have written permission from my 5 friends that allow me to work for the mutual fund? Or, do I just need written permission from the fund?

How about taking board of director position in a company that doesn’t have anything to do with your fund (e.g., you work at a short-term govt fixed income fund) Do you have to disclose? written permission? or not need to do anything?
