Just want to let everyone know that I got the Ethics question wrong about Her passing the Level 2 CFA Examination or whatever it was. I was back and forth on this one b/c I thought it was supposed to be Program but I just looked and examination is correct, damn. I stared at it forever thinking can they really be that strict and I went with yes, the rest is history. Another 1 to chalked up for wrong….
i got that one right, but i bombed the other VERY obvious one. :-/
^^ what was the obvious one you bombed… i can’t remember all of them anymore but judging on everyone’s take I got the 5 days prior wrong.

there has been great debate, but i think 5 days prior is the correct choice. the other option that people have been arguing is trades over $5k.

was that the one where they only had to report trades over 5k? If so I would have picked that one, b/c there should be no limit, but then again maybe there can be…who the heck knows. I do recall teh 5 days prior, but thought that was ok b/c it would stop front running.
Oh and I said Terminate teh relationship b/c they were receiving MNP and by terminating them it would avoid the possibility of conflict, anyone else?
Yeah, but what if the broker was also providing best execution?
two different questions: the manager who added commodities even though the IPS did not allow it i said terminate. i said it was ok for them to use the soft dollar trader because they verified best execution. my $.02
It was ok b/c of Best Execution, but if its the same qeustion they should have been terminated b/c of the MNP info that was being released. Also, I fired teh commodity guy too.
