Do you have to give disclosure to your employer if you’re working for a non-profit firm, once a month (using not a lot of your time), without compensation, for a non-competing firm?
If it’s related to the investment management, then I believe you have to disclose as there could be ‘conflict of interest’ (not sure if that’s the right one) of you using the research from your company @ the Non-profit firm.
i believe yes if it is investment related, because if you don’t you will be "depriving your employer of your expertise " or sth along that line. correct me if im wrong
only if it could reasonably be considered a conflict of interest. i saw one problem like this that stated a PM for a fixed income fund worked as a board member for a non-profit with no debt. said he did not have to disclose because of that.
