waiting for my materials…is ethics the same as level 1? same material?

There are a few differences, but the Ethics readings are available on the cfa institute website for L2 so you can begin before you receive the materials. http://cfainstitute.org/cfaprog/resources/studysessions.html

First two readings are (some of the practice problems at the end of reading two are different though). Readings 3 - 10 are different though.
