From where did you guys study ethics - Schweser or CFAI texts??? I studied entirely from CFAI text and scored bad.

lol oh the irony. I studied ethics out of just stalla last year, failed it hard (under 50). didn’t touch it this year at all. like not even a little. 70+ *shrugs*

It’s a total crap shoot. No amount of studying will prepare you. It ends up being a gut feeling. Somehow finished 70%+.

i read schweser and some notes. sometime in May, i kinda opened the CFAI text on ethics. did tons of questions, but i scored <50%! i didn’t get a good understanding of the item set (in the exam), it was confusing and sthing i had never encountered in my practice questions. but i passed anyway…

I didn’t even touch it this year, not even glanced. +70

Was it just me or did the ethics portion of the CFA lvl2 exam not contain any/many of the newer topics not covered in Lvl 1 ethics?..it just felt like level 1 ethics in vignette form lol.

I studied CFAI. Here is my reason for studying CFAI books for Ethics or any subject of level 2 for that matter. CFAI is the one that sets the exam paper. I should know and understand what CFAI wants me to learn and be good at. Using third party material for subjects other than Ethics is understandable becuase you can learn some tricks to save time. But Ethics, I would rather go with CFAI books. I scored >70% in Ethics studying from CFAI books. Level II : PASS (First Attempt)

@ Band10sucksss I don’t think u have an access to old mocks while registration!!
