a thread in the L2 forum got me thinking and i have a couple questions. I dont understand why the gas/oil prices in Europe are so much higher than the US. higher taxes? they are closer to the middle east, so i do not imagine it is due to transportation costs. we tend to drive bigger cars for longer distances so i dont think it is a matter of higher demand in europe (although there is a higher concentration of people). any energy analysts that can provide some insight?
