EX IB banker - 2ys out of the industry 31ys old. Does it make sense to start CFA now?

Hey guys,

I wanted to tap into the wisdom of this community to get some insights in what to do next in my career.

I have a bsc in Economics and Finance and Msc in Finance from top European schools. I also spent 4 years in IB in DCM and LevFin (BAML and European banks).

I have spent the past two year in the blockchain and crypto space and I am now an Executive for blockchain start up.

I am thinking about re entering the finance world ideally in the buy side. Thinking about doing CFA to re-fresh/ re-skill and approach the job search with more credentials.

I am 31 and I would be sitting L1, so need to go through all of the steps and finish by 33/34. I am also considering a MBA.

Do you think it makes sense to start my CFA now?

Thank you for your help!
