AM was OK, probably around 7 or 8, but I finished in about 2:45 so I was contetn with what I’d done. PM was easier than any of the Schweser mocks and frankly the derivatives question was a joke. A bright 15 year old could have done them
I agree bhill. The one time I thought I “rocked” one of these things (L2 two years ago) was the time that I actually failed. Turned out then that I probably just fell victim to all of CFA’s trap answers and thus had a false sense of confidence. I was glad to leave this year’s exam with an uneasy feeling, cause that’s how I felt when I passed L1 and L2 the second time.
AM 7 PM 3
I thought it was waaaaaay easier than L1 in 2004 and L2 in 2007, and I studied less for L3
I’m going to say AM 10 and PM 10, at least until I see my results in August.
For one i can’t say that any of the tests given by the CFAI are easy. I thought this exam was very challenging, and in a way i thought was challeging because i realized how tricky they made the question and how unstraightforward it was. The exam really made you think. The PM for me is always less difficult then the AM, but i thought the PM on this exam was more difficult on this exam then any of the practice exams especially in the easy section. Behaivoral finance was very tricky. Overally i give the AM a 7 and the PM a 6
I thought the exam was fair overall - b/w 6-7 for both sessions. I was surprised that econ took that much portion of the exam though (and that they asked us to calculate WACC)
