Exam Results and Quartiles

Hi All,

Need some help guys on passing the exam for Novemeber.

As I posted earlier I achieved the following quartiles in each of the exam categories:

Foundations of Risk Management: 2nd Quartile

Quantitative Analysis: 3rd Quartile

Financial Markets and products: 2nd Quartile

Valuation and Risk Models: 3rd Quartile

my question

Must I achieve 1st quartile in each to pass?

Would 2nd quartile in each category have been enough?

Would really appreciate some feedback?

I passed part II with following scores: 2,2,3,3,2. So not sure what the rules are.

thanks R Cash. what about your part 1 scores?

Part 1 - 2, 2, 2, 1; Pass

Part 2 - 3, 1, 1, 3, 1; Pass

From where did you study Jervis? Schweser?

it says kaplan on his post.

Chris: what breakdown did you get in your part 1?

I will attempt it next November dude.

I used Schweser and the GARP Books. Primarily Schweser, did a lot of practice questions. Some topics are not very clear in the schweser notes and those I read from the GARP reference material, probably about 15-20 % of all topics.

For Operations (particularly BASEL topics) that are tedious, I watched BT videos on youtube. Hope this helps.

Thank you Jervis.

Part I: 1,3,2,2. I was very surprised to pass both tests; must been close calls
