For some reason and Ive tried this on 2 separate printers at work and one at home, the text next to candidate number, name, level, etc at the top is all jumbled with gibberish when I print it. Has anyone else experienced this? The font itself just looks like regular fixed system font. I cut and pasted the page into Word and printed but I don’t know if they’ll accept this.
try to print it to a PDF and then print from Adobe.
yea that’s what i had to do
Good call, that worked. Thanks!
I think it’s because the printer doesn’t recognize the font. I had to take a screenshot of the ticket and print it out from MS Paint. With all the $$ pouring it, something as simple as a proper website and a printable exam ticket is the least we could ask for.
My printers print the URL across the bottom of my ticket. I hope that is ok!!!
I’d say bring a jumping wire with you for the exam. You know, it is that wire you would use to jump start your car when its battery goes down. It might come in handy if your caculator start $%*^ with you during the exam. A proctor once told me it is allowed as long you find your self a cadidate that is willing to give you a spark to jump start your caculator. … PS: make sure you use the same caculator brand as yours. Otherwise, he said, the caculator might get over-charged and start giving you a FV for a PV. So, be careful. good luck…
Is it alright if the URL is across the bottom of the ticket? When I print from the webpage it posts the URL at the bottom, and says “2008 CFA Examination Admission Ticket” at the top, and also “Page 1 of 1” Can we use the ticket like this?

I had the same BS. Use IE to view it, the CFA website is not compatible with firefox apparently.
Boston21 i have the same question. My ticket is the same as yours. Could someone please clarify?
Can some one please confirm the header and footer information is ok?
You’re fine, as long as your name and number are readable you’re good to go.
Only the original “first print” ticket will work. This is to prevent counterfeit ticketing. You better find a way to make that jumbled up ticket work.

I think as long as all the info on it is readable you should be fine. If you’re worried about it then compare your ticket w/ some other people to make sure your printer didn’t do something crazy
or maybe someone could print their ticket to PDF, delete the personal info and stick it up on flickr or something. then we could all compare…
