Excel - CONCATENATE Questions

Is there a way to concatenate a range of cells? e.g. I want to be able to use this formula: =CONCATENATE(A1:A5) instead of: =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) When I use the first formula the result is only what is in A1. Anyone know why this isn’t working and/or a way to accomplish what I want to do?

not without VBA. But: =A1&A2&A3&A4&A5 is significantly less keystrokes than CONCATENATE() and has the same effect.

Thanks wanderingcfa! Chrismaths: yes that formula is significantly less keystrokes when the range is only 5 cells but not when I have ~50 cells I want to concatenate.
