I am trying to chart monthly prices of a particular stock and the sp 500 for 5 years. I cannot figure out how to get the stock price on the left y axis and the sp500 price on the right y axis. On the x axis i want the date. I know this is probably simple but cannot figure it out. Any help appreciated.
In the charts wizard on the Custom Types tab there is a chart type called Lines on 2 Axes. You can use that one. Alternatively, if you already have both lines charted, you can right click on the second line and select Format Data Series. On the Axis tab pick to Plot on Secondary Axis. Either way should get the same result. Hope this helps.
