Are you sure that is from the 2008 LOS? I believe that was part of SS7 last year, which has been completely replaced.

What is an Excess Cash Margin?

Dinesh - don’t worry it is not required…ECM is from a 2007 LOS that was eliminated along with the entire set of SS7 readings from last year ~ has to do with statement of cash flow analysis

Thanks Lisa. I thought it was yet again the Schweser-not-covering-it issue!

Yes, don’t worry, but if you are curious the majority of SS 7 last year dealt with how earnings and operating cash flows tracked (converging, diverging, etc). ECM was one of the measures; along with a bunch of bull shite that was about classifying levels of cash flows as recurring or not. I was not sad to see all new readings for SS 7! (sadly for us that are 3peaters, this is the 3rd new set of SS7 readings in as many years)
