Has the tide turned towards more reasonable executive pay or is it all just bluster on the surface while executive pay creeps up?

Virtually every company meeting I go to I dig deep on executive pay. Not particularly from an ESG angle but I use their answers as a gauge for how the company is run. My American colleagues don’t seem that fussed by it.

My understanding of human nature and thousands of years of history tells me its bluster. But who knows, maybe I’m wrong although I doubt it.

i dont think there should be a cap on executive pay. but imo, there should be higher taxes for higher incomes :)!
