Expected inheritance and total net worth

Hi,

I made a 2021 mock exam whose questions were on average pretty easy or pretty confusing.

In one of the questions an expected inheritance is taken into account in the calculation of total net worth.

I am wondering why.

I can’t find an answer.

I think expected inheritance is consider extended asset so it must be included in economic balance sheet
