FCFF-Change in WC

When plugging through chnage in WC I have in my notes to deduct cash and cash = from CA and I also have deduct notes and debt from CL. The practice problem online has CL left alone without any deductions. Can someone tell me which is correct?

Is the debt current portion of lt debt or notes payable? If you’re deducting long term debt from current liabilities, you shouldn’t.
