What assets and or liabilities change on the financial statements that affect the carrying value in the FCInv. equation?
If referring to free cash flow to firm (FCFF) or equity (FCFE) calculations, I think FCinv adds to gross PPE. Don’t recall carrying value on BS impacting this formula.
