fill out bubble sheet at end?

better to complete exam in book then fill in bubble sheet et end, or fill in as you go along, skipping #'s you are not sure of? thanks…T-10 hrs

Fill it in as you go along, you don’t want to be filling in bubbles when they call time right at the very end. Goodluck

Definitely as you go. There’s either a post or a schweser blog/post that talks about past candidates that ran out of time before filling in all the bubbles because they tried to just do them all at the end.

the blog is at www.elanguides.com/wp/ Apparently they’re new learning providers Best of luck!

For the morning session I waited until the end. That was a bad idea. I barely had enough time to fill in all of my answers and verify that they were correct. Fill it in as you go along trust me.

I had never heard of anyone doing this until I started reading posts on here. I cannot imagine why anyone would wait until the end to fill in the bubbles. You have to record your answers somewhere as you go along, why would you choose to put them on scrap paper? Fill them in as you go along, folks.

absolutely… fill it in as you go along. and if you really want to save some time, i would rather suggest you to practice filling bubbles during your preparation… (sounds insane, right?)

Even though I was caught on the losing side of this issue last December, I still wait till the end before filling out the bubble sheet, for two reasons: 1) EFFICIENCY! Shifting back & forth between testbook and answer sheet is time consuming and distracting, at least for me. Especially if you don’t take the sections in order, which is generally recommended (leave toughest sections for last). In that case, you have to be careful to match test question and bubble number, another extranous item to worry about that can be avoided. Much better, imho, to stream though the bubble fill-out with 15 mins to go in the test. 2) Much easeir (and safer) to correct / change answers when you wait till the end to fill out the bubbles. No need for careful erasures and less risk of smudging of the answer sheet. KEY here though, for sure, is TIME MANAGEMENT. You MUST leave yourself 10 minutes to fill in those bubbles comfortably, even though you’re streaming though it. THAT’s what killed me in Dec '08, figuring that 4 minutes was plenty. It ISN’T!

THAT’s what killed me in Dec > '08, figuring that 4 minutes was plenty. It > ISN’T! + 1, i totally agree, working in the test booklet and not having to switch between reading and fill in bubbles - is much better IMO (concentration, efficiency…etc) But MAKE SURE you leave enough time, you ONLY have apprx. 2hr 45 mins, which means by the last time check (15mins left warning from the proctor’s announcement) you should be filling bubbles and not working on the exam. if you are someone who struggles til the last min, then this method might not work well for you.

I don’t mean to criticize anyone’s methods, but how is filling something out twice efficient?

Probably efficiency is not the word to use, but concentration (avoiding distraction) is as important (if not more) as time management towards passing this exam. As it happened to me during mock, I often mismatched chosen test question number and answers to the Bubbles! For the exam, I finished first a section (18 ethics, 14 Quant, 12 econs etc) then go to the bubble sheet for that section only. It worked for me. I finished both AM and PM with one hour left and had enough time to even check my matching and the knotty quetions.

The best method is to mark questions on the booklet and transfer them to bubbles as you’re done with each topic… always best to work on the book first.
