Final Roll Call: CFAI Mocks and Samples results

In first to last chronological order, let’s see our results in the CFAI mock and sample exams. We can cross-reference when the results are out! Sample 1 66% Mock 1 67% Mock 2 73% Sample 3 75% Sample 2 78% Consistent improvement (weird order I know), but not overly impressive.

Sample 1 - 84 Sample 2 - 82 Sample 3 - 70 - (I ****ed up big time girlfriends are a pain) Mock 1 - 80 Mock 2 - 78 Schweser Book 6 - All Between 76 - 81 If I can keep my head in check, I may have a chance.

I think you are gonna do just fine. I’m worried tho. I got a 69 on the second Mock. What do u think about that grade? U think I can still pass on saturday?

the second mock was brutal I think, I guess on like 4 and I think my score may be skewed a little.

I did really well in FSA but didn’t do so good in the other areas in which I usually do well.

I only did sample 1, i got a 68 :confused: Been getting like mid-80s on the schweser qbank with easy questions unchecked though.

Best Performance - Stalla Mock 81%/90% CFAI Mocks 76%/67% Schwesser Practcies, Stalla Practices in the 75-85 range.

sample 2 - 87 sample 3 - 60 mock 1 - 78 mock 2 - 80 Schweser exams are messing with my head. I scored 78 on Exam 1 am, but !@#$ up Exam 1 pm (65). Not sure what to make of it.

I have been getting 70% on all the Schweser exams but I just got killed on Vol. 2 Exam 1 Pm. I got a 67%. Do the tests get harder the further along you get?

Yeah. I think the Schwesers test do get harder… or I certainly hope so anyways. I’ve been averaging about 70% on the Schwesers, which gives me the impression I’ve been wasting the past week doing practice exams. Really really hoping they get harder… Does anyone know if the mock exams are the same from last june? I have 7 schwesers exams to do… so I’m not sure if it would be worth it to buy or just do schwesers.

They are immense marks in my opinion. Incidentally, I’ve heard the pass rate = Average of top 1% - 30% … Maybe BS, I dunno. My guess is a fair few of the forum posters here will be top 1%, I can’t imagine a significant number of people beating 90% honestly. Maybe I am naive ?

Maybe I am > naive ? I think even if you are very well prepared it is easy to make errors by clicking on the wrong button on your calculator or because you overread “not” or similar. For the FRM-exam, the pass rate is something like Average Score of 10% best x 0.75. I though for CFA would be just 70%?
