I have been through a number of interviews that have covered competency & technical questions, but now they want me to meet with the Head of Department. This is also NOT the recruiting manager, but the person that the recruiting manager reports into. All I have been told is that it will be a “free-style interview”, where they want to see “how sharp I am”. The person who is interviewing me appears very senior, having had a number of senior vice president roles behind him. Any clues on what I should expect or what they are after?
Yeah, I just had one for ER associate. It was all behavioural, and the guy was aggresively firing random questions my way. What would you bring to our Research Dept, why investment banking, whats your personal investment philosphy… that kind of stuff
