I have done the revision on Kaplan Schweser notes, so that now I have about 20 days for practising, taking mock tests etc. I am a bit panic right now, honestly!
Would you suggest me what I should do next, after reviewing Kaplan? Is it a good way if I start reviewing blue box examples and EOCs’ questions?
If you have the schewser question banks, there are over 4000 questions in it.
If you do a full mock exam using the question bank each day, it will take you roughly 33 days to exhaust the entire questions. You can typically use this to your own advantage to get more familiar with the question types and narrow down your weakest points.
For L1, qbank if more than sufficient for practice problems. I did not do any CFA EOCs, in fact I didn’t even open the CFAI books and scored above 70% on all but 1 section. Do 150 qbank problems a day, take the CFA mock exam, and review any problem areas and you should be fine.
What area was it (if you don’t mind me asking) that you didn’t score above 70% on? I’m just curious because this may show a lack of area coverage by the Schweser Qbank if this is the case and you did 150 questions per day.
Was it ethics by any chance? I keep hearing from people that the only way to score well on this is by reading the curriculum.
It was quant, which I was slightly surpirsed by - must have messed up some calculations because I felt like I was familiar with the concepts.
I can honestly say that between reading Schweser material, doing a ton of qbank, the CFA mock exam, a few Schweser practice exams, and reviewing problem areas, there were only a couple questions that I wasn’t familiar with (had no idea how to solve).
