Just had an interview for a position on the desk at a BB that would involve supporting trading and hedging for a large volume fixed income portfolio (passthroughs, IO’s PO’s, MBS, etc.). The interview was over 4 hours long, with 6 different people - one at a time. Very technical interview, very faced paced, and everyone in the department was very intelligent. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
That’s the job market today. Employers have the upper hand.
