for those who took the second sample from cfai

you know, the one where i thought there were errors? did you guys get charged the 40? I might be missing something, but i don’t think i got charged. and i never got an email from them telling me i got charged. i got one today for the third one i took.

First FREE LUNCH in the investment industry?!!

free punch in the face, actually. there were a couple of errors and it was very difficult, for a dummy like me, at least. i’m probably being a dummy thinking i got anything for free. i’m sure i put it on a different card or something. you’re right. there’s no free lunch.

I will post my 56 on the free one in the next few days.

Will those CFAI exam still be available if I take them in the month of June?

mwvt, i’m guaranteeing you an above 70 score. i’m not kidding. the only that may hinder your score is the stupid format, especially if you’r doing it on a mini thinkpad, like me

yes, they will. it says until june 7th… the third one, i think, is about the middle ground difficulty wise.

I appreciate the confidence, but I have been doing schweser vignettes and I am not doing well. I have had to cover the material so quickly and that isn’t how I normally learn. I don’t have a good conceptual grasp of the material yet and I don’t think I have time to get there before test day.

Thanks for confirming. I need to tighten things up and think of taking one by 1st June to get the judgement of where I stand.

I think both you and dinesh are underestimating yourselves. we’ll see. i just have a feeling.

Are these exams replicated from 2007 samples? If I still have screenshots from last year’s, should I pay again to get the new ones?

Thanks cfasf1!! hope we all make it to L3. I am soooooooo tired of studying. I have really crossed all my endurance levels. I just want to get done with this thing. I know the burnout factor was going to kick in (in the last 2 weeks) with just 90 days of L2 preparation and 6 months of L1 preparation back-to-back. Oh well… best we could do now is to just give in our 100% rest all is on what they pick to be the topic of the day. There is such a wide syllabus, so many concepts, so little to ask and each question is weighted heavy, so a question here and there can me the PASS/FAIL differences, which was not at all the case when we have a 240 question exam and errors are less punishable.

Exactly. My guess (for me) is that after all of this hard work it will come down to luck/providence (depending on your worldview).
