If a formula is provided in the CFA online exam questions, can we expect them to also be provided on the actual exam?
For example, as I am going through the CFA section question sets they provide the equation to Taylor’s Rule in the actual question. Does this mean we do not need to memorize it?
It is better to not rely on cfai samples questions to predict actual exam questions, however Cfai always prefer to test analystics rather than memory, so I think that if they ask something that need a hard formula, it is likely theyprovide it

I haven’t seen a taylor rule since years ago, so I’m excited to see where it will be tested
