Formulas!!

Hi all,

So pardon my ignorance…but I am assuming that we do not get to bring a formula or cheat sheet into the exam, correct.

So my question becomes this - what are the key formulas to put to memory and has someone made a nice complilation sheet for these (I would put a question mark there at the end but when i try to do that one of these É appears, my keyboard is off lol - probably some more grounds for internet scrutiny).

Thanks

No formula sheet on the exam. You must commit them to memory.

You do not get to bring in a formula sheet.

Good stuff, thanks!

But does it include the DuPont formula (all forms)?

In fact, it does. Pages 33-34. Hope all is well out west, S2000.

You will learn the most important formulas by taking a lot of practice tests.

If you do all 6,000+ Qbank questions, all six Schweser mock exams, CFAI’s practice exams, and all of the EOC questions in the curriculum and the Schweser material, then you will know and understand the formulas that you need to know.

And if you do that and there’s a formula that you don’t remember, then chances are that you probably don’t need to remember it.

Other than needing some rain, things are pretty good. If you could send some from the East coast or mid-West, we’d appreciate it. (Note: some, not a deluge.)

I’ve heard you guys need a LOT of rain. I was going to go on a goose hunting trip next winter out in California. My buddy said in order for that to happen, the area is going to need a bunch or rain. We’ll see how it is 11 months from now. The weather around here (St. Louis) is a ‘balmy’ high of 12* today with lows around 0. We’ve had plenty of snow this winter, though not as much as Michigan and the northeast.

We do need a lot of rain. Most of January it felt like Summer here: 70s and 80s. We got a little drizzle a few days ago (maybe 0.10" total), and may get some later today, but nothing more in the immediate forecast.

If more rain means more people here shooting geese, then all the more reason to pray for rain. (I worked for Exxon in New Jersey for a while: there were geese all over the campus there and they were universally reviled.)

Cheers from the minus 27 C this morning!

that’s only 86* F… that’s not too hot for around here during summer months
