Anyone know of any sites where you can screen by forward dividend yield? With so many dividends being cut/suspended, most normal div yield screens are bunk.
That’s a toughie. After all, a forward div yield requires a projection of dividends going forward, and that requires some model of how dividends are going to be affected. Traditional models tend to be just an extrapolation of historical growth rates with some fudge factors for subjective adjustments. Those methods are almost certainly poorly equipped for the current environment.
Yeah at this point, i would even settle for one that includes the most recent quarter’s as long as the company hasn’t already officially announced a cut.
