French School

Hey Guys, i have a quick question for those familiar with the French system. Would you know the finance opportunities available in London and/or New York after doing a MSc in Management Grande Ecole whether it is in HEC Paris or ESCP? Any insights would help, thank you

I worked with two chicks from HEC Paris last year. One had a feet odor problem, specially during the Summer. D@mn water is almost free in this side of the world, Jeeez.

Just for that, I am reconsidering my plans…

What I mean to say is that you won’t be discriminated against because of the school you attended. If you want to work in Paris however, I would suggest getting your degree from HEC, Essec, ESCP (the 3 “Parisians”), Sciences Po Paris, Dauphine (depending on the specific MSc), EM Lyon, Edhec. Basically : top 5 business schools + Sciences Po + Dauphine. You may as well add some MSc taught at the Sorbonne, but the odds are not in your favour. If you don’t come from one of these schools, you face an uphill battle and need to know people who know people, etc… As for NY, your best bet would be finding a job with a French bank because your degree will be unknown to Americans.

I gather that the French universities and degrees are very well known in London though.

I used to live with two french girls. One of them lost it.

Pardon my French…but, “I surrender!”
