So it’s been 15 hrs since my lasik. I’m a 100 already. Had a mini panic attack during said surgery. But all is now well. Haha. Recovering this 3 day weekend. Will be at vegas for washingtons bday.
What’s wrong with wearing glasses?
I never heard about any kind of implications after the surgery. Personally, I know three friends who went through it and never had any problem.

^ There was a documentary about complications. Some guy’s eye got permanently damaged. He can’t see within 3 feet in front of him and his eyes are constantly dry and hurting.
I have had to wear glasses since I was 9 years old. Have been thinking about lasik for some time now. Lots of people say it’s worth it and I’m sure that’s the truth but I’m scared of what happens if it goes wrong.
What is the net + of undergoing lasik considering the advanced technology available in lenses and contacts beyond vanity?
It’s all about convenience.
Don’t get in the way of his resentment with common sense. Anyone who has lasik does it purely because they’re vain. Duh.
I got lasik then bought Oliver Peoples non-prescription clear glasses.
They’re great looking glasses but sometimes I get mistaken for that dickhead Marcus Halberstram. It seems logical because Marcus also works at P&P and in fact does the same exact thing I do and he also has a penchant for Valentino suits and Oliver Peoples glasses. Marcus and I even go to the same barber, although I have a slightly better haircut.
yea, this is fair. Saves the hassle of maintenance of glasses yet perhaps the admittedly minute risk of completely fucking up your eyesight is not worth it.
^ You have never worn glasses, have you? You have no clue how much of an inconvenience glasses and contacts are.
I wear them, I debated LASIK but the reduced cost of extremely thin lenses from Japan made 6 month use and throw feasible back in college itself so not sure
