FRM Full exam November 2009 - Any takes

Now that the FRM will be 2 exams starting in 2010, doesn’t the PRM get more attractive for the following reasons: 1) if you pass all 3 levels of CFA, you can skip 2 exams 2) you can take the exam anytime of the year 3) no annual fees

FRM is cooler then PRM cause i did FRM. I’m in toronto. i don’t know a single person doing the PRM but i know at least 5 doing FRM. I honestly think FRM has better industry recognition.

yesterday I got schweser brochure in mail for the FRM exam. i am kinda bored right now. nothing exciting going on. I think i am going to sign up. there’s an ocean of time to study but maybe i can start learning something. i doubt my employer will sponsor though.

I am not sure… I adds no value if you don’t use it. One-level exam does not make it attrative to take.

I am planning to take full FRM in november after CFA level 2 exam in june. I want to get it over with in one exam.

I just received my FRM certificate on 20th april. And in materials i got with the certificate, i see ‘… We hope that you will continue to renew your membership in garp…a percentage of your $150 membership fee is applied towards promoting the status of FRM…’. So is it mandatory fee or not? May be it is not mandatory anymore?

Just signed up for the full in November.

I failed last november…going to try again. Its not that hard…I just don’t think its really worth it…I’m a bit tired of studying…

Just registered for the full. Back to CFA L2 studying…

I don’t want to work in risk so no FRM for me.

Live like a man ho from June 9 till mid september and then back to the library. I don’t want to work in RM either. Just doing it for the knowledge.

Registered for the Full FRM as well. Wonder if the FRM Forum will up and running soon, information regarding FRM is much more difficult to come by than for CFA.
