can someone please help me understand what this is? it’s only a bit more than 800 pages so it can’t be both Level 1 and 2 right? thanks for your comments
The FRM Handbook (by Jorion) covers some of the content in the FRM program, but doesn’t seem to be directly correlated with the FRM readings / AIMs. (An FRM “AIM” is equivalent to a CFA “LOS”.) I bought the FRM Handbook, looked at it, decided I didn’t need it, then resold it the next week. I used the FRM SchweserNotes to prepare for the FRM exams. The nice thing about these notes is that they cover all of the AIMs, in order, and tell you everything you need to know to pass the exam. I found that I didn’t additionally need to read the FRM Handbook or the FRM Official Readings. I recommend that you steer clear of the FRM official readings; they are REALLY long and needlessly academic.
