FRM level 1 passing criteria

Hi ppl Does anyone know what is the passing criteria for FRM level 1, like CFA has a 70% in each subject, for a sure pass. Does FRM also have a similar criteria, or do they look at aggregate marks?? Please do let me know Thanks Vijay

its not a criterion as such , no one knows the passing marks mainly because it depends on where your score figures on the curve that said when I took FRM Full (Nov 09) I can say I might have barely crossed 70-75 % and I passed comfortably (most in 1st or 2nd qtile) as far as my experience goes the passing score is not as high as CFA , basically for the fact that FRM Full is much harder than any single level in CFA . few of my friends who took FRM full along with they were also of the opinion that the passing score might mot be as high as CFA yes they look at aggregate marks , there are no sections like in CFA these things might substantially differ w.r.t FRM Level 1 . IMO best way to tackle is to benchmark 75% + in your practice exams , I got around 70-75% in the GARP practice exams and I got 66-70 % in schweser exams , however schweser practice exams are way too tough and most of the questions were not true indicators of the actual exam , schweser for FRM is a disaster …even though it does a great job for CFA . GARP practice exams are the best way to prepare

I believe to have seen somewhere they take 70% of the score of the average of the top 5%
