FRM PART 1 STUDYING GUIDLINE

I’ve got the Schweser’s notes for part 1 FRM, but one primary confusion in studying for FRM to me is the readings list as GARP Aim Statement has given various references to readings and research papers to go through. I just want to know that are these readings essential to go through… or just the notes are enough combined with John C. Hull’s textbook.

So far I am using Hull’s textbook and Schweser

I can’t speak to whether the notes will compensate for not having the GARP readings, but there is a lot in the GARP readings that is not included in Hull. If you are rusty or not familiar with the topics in the AIM statements, you’ll want to go for the GARP readings or find the actual readings elsewhere. I know that I would be lost without them (still feeling pretty lost though!).

Good luck!
