FRM Preparation Requirements

Hello everybody,

a friend of mine is currently considering doing FRM. He didn’t do anything like CFA or so but has a master in finance. I remember Schweser notes from CFA and CAIA and found them to be ok but as I didn’t go for FRM I don’t know exactly if it’s good. Does anybody know how many books and pages each of the study notes is and if it’s doable in 2-3 months just studying weekends while working full time during the week? I apologize in advance if this has been answered before.

P.S. I did the PRM does anybody know how FRM would compare to that regarding preparation requirements.

Don’t know about preperation from schweser but yes the timeframe you are mentioning you can very well prepare for FRM in that .

2-3 months is doable but not so much if you only study weekends. Your strategy is taking 5 day breaks in between study sessions. I can’t see how you will remember anything.
