FRM value addition in India

Hi All,

I am a postgraduate with Masters in Finance degree. I am interested in pursuing a career in Risk Management field and I am planning to opt for FRM level 1 exam in November 2013. However before registration, just wanted some general information about :

  1. How valuable is the FRM certification in India?

  2. Will it have significant value additional to my CV as well as in corporate world, particularly in India?

I think in India nothing is valued, everyone is CFA FRM here…
