Why or why didn’t you take the FRM?

I’m not sure what it is, but I never plan to ever manage any financial risks, outside of in my own business someday.

I didn’t know about FRM besides CFAvsMBA’s profile until recently working with guys who have both the CFA and FRM. And then I had to argue financial theory with a guy who was a PHD, FRM, CFA, PRM, MBA recently. It seems the FRM is trying to beef up its reputation.
FRM actually seems really interesting. Any insight CFAvsMBA? The ability to take it quicker than the CFA is definetly attractive, as it isn’t another 3 year commitment on top of CFA.
I’m not even certain if I’d need to use the letters.
There is a FRM forum.
I’m aware of that. I’m more curious of those not just studying for the test. I chose my sample carefully based on the information I’m looking for
