An analyst would find information about significant uncertainties affecting a company’s liquidity, capital resources and results of operations in the: A. auditor’s report. B. notes to the financial statements. C. balance sheet and income statement. D. management discussion and analysis. Okay i put C as that’s where you get all the figures realting to liquidity etc, which you could compare to industry or competitor. isn’t MD&A where managers talk about the future prospects of the firm?
what is the answer, I’d put C too for this one. but uncertaintieis and trends are part of MDA edit: go with MDA
D MD&A must highlight any favorable or unfavorable trends and identify significant events and uncertainties that affect the company’s liquidity, capital resources, and results of operations. MD&A must also provide information about the effects of inflation, changing prices, or other material events and uncertainties that may cause the future operating results and financial conditions to materially depart from the current reported financial information.
Thanks nc… nice detailed explanation.
