Full List of Behavioral Biases

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has a comprehensive list of all behavioral finance biases that are mentioned in CFA L1. I searched the forum and found a thread with a list but it was for level 3.

Any links or insight into which to focus on would be great. I’ve noticed a lot of them get repeated in different sessions but some don’t seem to be repeated.

Thanks in advance!

I’ll start:

  1. Conservatism
  1. Conservatism
  2. Disposition Effect
  3. Gambler’s Fallacy
  4. Investor Overconfidence
  5. Loss Aversion
  6. Mental Accounting
  7. Narrow Framing
  8. Representativeness

That’s what I have in my notes.

  1. The money illusion (though not sure that’s in the curriculum)

I don’t think we entioned backfill. Is it the same as one that’s already been listed?
