I didn’t think it would go for as long as it did, but I guess it was the type-A personality in me that made me want to keep the guy in check. He crossed a few boundaries and that was all I was going to have of it. That’s actually sort of funny how someone accused you of bigotry for calling Moscow a dangerous city. Even if it’s not all the crime capital that people think it is, it’s as much of a dangerous city as New York is, and I have no problem accepting that when people mention it to me. Some of my family is from the UK so that was a good guess (though I’m also thinking that was a bit lucky – is there something about my posts that made you think that?). I was actually born in New York, where I grew up until I moved away for college, only to come back to New York a few years ago to work. I just moved down to Dallas in March to start my new job. How long have you been in Dallas for? Where are you located and how are you liking it so far? Anyway, I’d be up for meeting sometime. Shall we take this off the forum?

No offense to numi but I would rather see JDV play the role of the dude in this softcore flick. JDV would keep it real, remind her who’s boss, and call her all sorts of Chinese names when she gets out of line.
I’ve been here for just over a year. I think Dallas is a great place for someone in my phase of life (just staring out) considering unbeatable cost-of-living, sane work/life balance, and reasonable activities. The weather/culture has left quite a bit to be desired though and career wise its definitely not NYC! I do not plan on staying here long term- how about you? Big difference from new england no? Did you go to school in the south?
