Future of the CFA designation

hey akanska, i’m definitely with you on all the points you mentioned. dallas a big difference from the northeast for sure, but i think it’s a great place to live for people our age. i like that there’s a fair amount of outdoor bars and places to chill, and the weather’s been great so i usually try to get in some soccer or tennis a few times a week. my work hours are pretty much as bad as they were in new york, but they don’t feel that way because it’s just a more relaxed atmosphere down here. i’ll probably be here till 2010 before heading somewhere for b-school. how about yourself? where’d you move from and what have you been up to in dallas? yeah, feel free to drop me a line whenever. i’m at porcupines AT gmail DOT com.

How long have you been married again?

Oh yeah, and farley013 is the most hilarious person on AF. Numi, you have access, now do your duty.

Akanska is probably a guy who is posing as a girl. Like me.

lol

Oh oh…better call JDV for some backup Halifax.

numi, nice job btw…

this whole discussion reminds of that Larsen cartoon with a dog sitting at the keyboard typing away, as he says to the dog sitting next to him …“on the internet nobody knows you’re a dog” not that I’m calling anyone a dog of course.

Funny you say that, I was thinking to myself earlier that when I’m reading all these posts I picture everyone as a white, 20-something year old male, but in reality I’m betting a majority of posters here are Asian and Indian and I’m also willing to bet that a lot more of them than you think are close in age to JDV.

Lol, guess I was right, there are a lot of Indians on this board.

sure farley . +1. do you want a medal for your insight?

Judging by the attention given to Akanska after her claim of cuteness, there’s a lot of virgins on this board too.

Ha-ha yea looks like it. Hell of an entertaining thread though.

To the Dallas people, have you checked out the restaurant Zanata in Rockwall (brick oven pizza)? And their newest creation…the Square Market (gourmet foods store)? My cousins own it

I actually meant it as a humorous retort to what I feel is a form of protectionism (ie industry xenophobia against every job going to India). If we were talking about Swedes I’d say Sven or Germans Hans. Deal with it.

We actually have a vibrant seal hunt 'round these part and proud of it.

This is probably the most insightful and honest post ever made on the forum. Virginity is running wild all over this place.
