When does the Asian market open? The reason I asked is that I always read news of US equity indices future trading (i.e. pointing down before 9:30 EST)… where is it traded? How do I get such information via bloomberg? thanks.
FX markets open at 5pm Eastern time. U.S. stock futures open at 6pm Eastern time. You can monitor this on Bloomberg.com. You would need to click on the “americas” link and scroll down and look on your right to see U.S. stock futures data. The Asian market opens at 8pm Eastern time with Japan’s stock exchange.
They’re closed today so if you are having trouble viewing them that is why.
