Hello all, I got an offer from GE to join their Financial Management Program, and I was wondering if you guys know if this position fulfills the requirements to obtain the CFA Charter. Also, do you think it’s good work experience to get into a top MBA in the future? Any insight would be highly appreciated! Thanks!
depends on what you will be doing in this program and how to intepret your experience to CFAI.
ge is a great company to work for so congrats. def take it to an top mba, don’t sign when done. as far as the cfa is concerned, i’m not sure you’re going to be doing much portfolio investing. you’ll have to wait until after your program is layed out until you know what type of projects you’ll be placed into. best of luck
